This document presents the finalized and approved budget estimates for the Vadakkenchery Grama Panchayat Office for the financial year 2026-2027, alongside the budget projections from the previous year (2025-2026) and actual figures from prior periods.  1. Opening Balance and Total ReceiptsOpening Balance: The fiscal year 2026-2027 is projected to open with a balance of 37,122,659.  Total Receipts: The combined total receipts (Revenue + Capital receipts) are projected to hit 457,996,700.  2. Revenue and Capital ReceiptsRevenue Receipts: Budgeted at 235,249,700. This is driven largely by:  Tax Revenues: Expected to generate 29,700,000, heavily reliant on General Property Tax (19,500,000).  Fees and User Charges: Budgeted at 55,128,000, with a major influx coming from Building Construction Fees (18,000,000) and Water Charges (28,000,000).  Revenue Grants & Subsidies: Bringing in 141,581,700, which includes substantial funds for welfare schemes like the Old Age Pension (42,894,000) and the Sthree Suraksha Scheme (27,036,000).  Capital Receipts: Budgeted at 222,747,000, which consists almost entirely of Grants and Contributions for Specific Purposes (such as the Development Fund and MGNREGS).  3. Projected ExpendituresTotal Expenditure: The total estimated outflow is 181,486,700.  Revenue Expenditure: Comprises the bulk of the budget at 174,826,700. Major allocations include:  Establishment Expenses: 27,941,000 (covering staff salaries and honorariums).  State Sponsored Schemes: 110,280,700 dedicated to executing welfare pensions and community programs.  Program Expenses: 20,050,000 (such as poverty eradication initiatives).  Capital Expenditure: Budgeted sharply lower for this cycle at 6,660,000, distributed between the refund of deposits and loans/advances to employees and implementing officers.  4. Closing BalanceNet Surplus/Balance: After factoring in the robust opening balance and total receipts against the planned spending, the Panchayat projects a highly stable closing surplus balance of 313,632,659 by the end of the 2026-2027 fiscal period.
